FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO YOU DO IN DEMOLITION?

Demolition is dismantling a structure or anything that’s related to its physical integrity. A structure may be fixed or moveable, temporary or permanent, and includes buildings, sheds, towers, chimney stacks, silos and storage tanks. Demolition does not include removal of power, light or telecommunication poles, and dismantling of scaffolding or any support.

WHAT IS PARTIAL DEMOLITION?

Partial demolition is removing a fraction of the building or removing a single wall instead of an entire structure. It usually applies to remodeling projects since it only removes certain parts of the building and does not affect electrical or plumbing works.

HOW MUCH DOES RESIDENTIAL DEMOLITION COST?

On average, it costs $75 per hour but it greatly depends on different factors such as the size of the structure, presence of asbestos, scope of the project and location.
